Called from "Essential Services Australia" spruiking a tax incentive. Used my first name, and was very confident. Opened with a "we called you last year and some thresholds have changed which is the reason for the callback".

Just rang me, asked about my mortgage ... I don't have one. End of conversation.

claiming to be a company called Essential Services Australia - a mortgage broker. Said people in my area are paying too much for their mortgages.... no kidding! Stop calling.

I called back number (03) 9936 0324 rang once then goes to busy tone.
