i would like to know who’s number this is?

This person first asked me to do an "identification verification". However before handing over my personal information, I asked the caller to identify themselves and who they were working on behalf of. The caller stated that he was unable to identify himself without me first "verifying my identification". If this was not a scam caller; understandably whom ever organisation they represent is breaking the law by doing this. Either way I will report this to ScamWatch, and on the chance they are a legitimate buisness: I am sure the ACCC would like to know about someone trying to get identifying and personal information, without identifying themselves without first handing over this information

This number called me aswell, just then at 3:15pm. Saying that they were with some company called probe i think, but i couldn't quite understand her and asked her again who she was working for and she wouldn't answer me, just kept saying that they needed to collect my personal information to confirm my identity and that the call would be recorded for transfer purposes etc, so when she continued without answering my question, i hung up on her and blocked the number.

Reading here, people are saying it's Probe CX, In the same sense, I easily get at least 3 calls a day from this number, especially on Saturdays, which strikes me as odd.

Either way if they are Probe, I get texts and a 1300 number/email to contact them anyway, so until they start replying to me or try to contact me through those like I've stated to them, I'm going to keep ignoring, especially if they can't identify themselves to me first. Also after pressing the ID issue they will just hang up on you anyway

This person just called me they new my name they’ve called me twice I’m not sure if their a scam or not because they literally said my name

They are Probe, a debt collexting agency, I'm behind on my after pay and my debt has been switched to them. Glad I checked the number before answering.
