No message left.When the answering machine cuts in.they hang up

Didn't leave message..... uses several phone numbers in a sequence....(03) 9917 7878 etc

Left no message so obviously not important. Assume scam or telemarketing…

As above statements - away when call came through. Would not have responded if at home - re unknown number. A thought!!!! What about responding to the next scam call by saying ...."Police station. How can I assist you?"
