Caller: Capital 'what not'

Had another phone call from this range of numbers. This time I picked up. The guy on the phone was very rude as I asked him where he got my number. He said I responded to an advert about 6-8 months ago. When I asked him what he is selling, he said they are not selling anything, they want to educate me in shares trading as I have already wasted a lot of time. When I mentioned to him that he just offended me by saying I have wasted time, he got angry.: "This is the problem with you guys. You leave your details and then never want to do anything!" I said to him, then please remove me from your callers list. He said, that wasn't his job and I would have to remove myself from the list. I asked him, when and where did I enter my details, so I can then remove myself from the list. That guy then went on an on with insults. So I said, stop this right now, and please help me getting removed from the list as I had so many calls from this number in the past few days and I am not interested in their practices. He did not let me finish my sentences and kept on insulting me. I repeated that I am not interested and want to get removed from the list - about 3 or 4 times. That guy then finally said, he would remove me from the list so I would not waste their time.
WOW! What an interesting experience...

The best way is NOT to answer those unknown phone numbers if you are not expecting any call. Then Google that number. If it's someone you know call him back, if not block that number.

Caller: Scammers

Same scammers calling from the range ‭(03) 9912 4831-9. Third one I’ve dealt with. Hang up and block number. Next!

Caller: I don't know - apparently a "trading education company".

BLOCK THESE IDIOTS!!! Some female called me and said I had signed up for education in trading shares. I questioned this and asked them when/how (as I don't believe I did). The female became a complete smart arse and asked if I was serious or just wasting her time. I reminded her that she called me, was wasting my time (and hers) and I hung up. I have blocked similar numbers recently..... so yep.... scamming network.

"V similar situation receiving calls from Trader Education - same modus operandi as above, telling me I have reached out to them for Share Trading advice. When asked where they get my details from, they become rude, tell me I should know, etc. Two of my calls originated with an Auckland, NZ number plus this Aust/Vic ph number today. Eventually they hang up on me. Have reported them to DoNotCallRegister.

I had the exact same experience today except he wouldn't help remove my number. Said it was my fault and that i should be more careful with my details and i should remove them myself. Tried to call the number back but it said it was disconnected? How can they call from a "disconnected" line?

Received calls 3 times from this and similar numbers saying I’d responded to something about share trading which I hadn’t. Each time asked to take me off their list but they keep calling. It’s a similar number to one related to work so I pick up.

Had similar number yesterday.
Didn't answer didn't leave msg. Figured if important they'd leave msg. Have blocked

Capital investment - very similar experience to above, they had my details and said I submitted them to a website saying I was looking to work online! Definitely a scam

I had a very similar experience where the guy was aggressive from the start and said I had put my name down to be contacted about bit coin trading 2 months ago. When I said I did not recall doing that and that I wasn't interesting he had a go at me about putting my name on list to be contacted when I wasn't interested. Seemed like a hoax and I wonder if the aggression is an attempt to get less savvy people to give up money.

I'm from Sydney and the numbers appear to be from Melbourne, so I ignored. Could be harmless, but besides unwelcome intention, what is it that they want from a stranger 700-800km away.

Trying to convince me that I was looking to increase my income early this year, so he was calling back.
Be careful people, they have fullname, email, and phone number.
