Caller: Kelly Bunn claiming to be from Com. Bank Security Dept address stated as 500 Bourke St Melb.

This flea had my name, address and home phone number. The caller asked my wife if she could speak with me - I connected and she asked if I had written a cheque today in favor of a party in the USA named Roy Miller for the amount of $900 (being a donation to a/the payee in the USA). I advised I had not and queried the caller who advised she was from the Security Dept of the Com. Bank in Melb. I then asked for her phone number which she said was 03 9878859 (sic) which I told her was a bogus number as it was short one digit - she asked me to wait a minute or so and came back with (03) 9878 2866 which I later checked with Reverse Aust that lists it for Commonwealth Financial Planning in Blackburn - an outer suburb of Melbourne. I then asked her how the (mild expletive) hell she had my name address and phone number and she promptly hung up. Had I been stupid enough to let her into my banking info I am quite sure these fleas would have made merry with my account so beware people about calls from unidentifiable phone numbers !

I called back number (03) 9878 2866 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
