Stated they were from Amazon --scam. ??

Phishing scam. Also calls from 9871 7418. Blocked and reported.

Caller: Security Department for the Government

(03) 9871 7498 call comes in as based in Ringwood Victoria, was advised that my phone was being used in Japan and that my location was being compromised. I was told that my email address was being used by a man in Japan to send child pornography. She asked me to go onto my Google account to see where my location was showing. After advising her l don't use the internet on my mobile she then asked me where l use the internet l advised on my computer she then asked me to look on my computer l told her that l only have a company computer she hun the phone up.

Called and left no message. Blocked!

Claimed to be from Visa, knew my name when I asked for confirmation of who they were, got defensive and began threatening me, I told him he was terrible at his "job" and he hung up

I answered the phone “Hello (my name) speaking” and after a long pause and the typical click over of the phone he starts saying “Mrs Todd? Are you Mrs Todd?” I said “no sorry”.
He says “May I know who I’m speaking with?” I said “no, you may not, I’m not Mrs Todd sorry, you have the wrong number!” and he hung up before I got to finish that sentence

Got this number on Scamphone. Its really the only reason I keep this number on this phone. I like the entertainment. At my age there arent many fun things other than to listen to scammers trying to dud me. Hahahaha. Keep ringing scammers. I figure if your wasting time with me your not stealing someone elses money.
They said I owed money on a pay for freeway use.

Said he was from the Commonwealth Bank, and I had charges against my account. Told him, not my bank and called him out as a scam. He hung up.

Caller: Scammers pretending to be from Amazon

Two days in a row, now blocked.

Claimed to be a technician from Telstra about issue with my internet connection. I don’t have a Telstra internet service.

Had multiple calls from a 03 number. Never answer and block them

Claimed they were from commonwealth bank and someone in America had tried using my card then tried to get me to download an app to stop people from accessing my data. Hung up on me when I said I was going to call my actual bank branch to confirm. Definitely was a scam
