Caller: (03) 9871 7453 Claims to be in the international security team for visa cards. Then mentions they are calling on behalf of anz and commonwealth bank stating there has been 2 transactions on my account one from amazon for shoes and another from someone else both made by Michael around 4am, one transaction for $300 and another for $700. They then want your account name to transfer you to the banks headquarters to put a hold on these requests and red flag them as fraud transaction. i said no i will contact my own banks myself she then tries to convince you by trying to give her employee id number and name. Responded saying again i will contact my banks myself and then she said you wont get your account on hold as fast unless you go through her. i then ended the call and contacted my banks myself and they confirmed that there was no suspicious transactions. location of the call was from ringwood, victoria.
