Caller: scammer The usual crap about credit card sales going overseas. It's getting so repetitive that I now press 2 and tell them to go "F" ya self. I'm averaging 2 to 3 calls a day from different numbers; all with the same message.

Scam caller from Ringwood, Victoria. Don’t answer. Just ignore and let it ring until it stops. Then block and delete number when it appears as missed call on your mobile.

I answered the call, and I heard a lot of Indian men talking to each other , maybe they were in a call centre and called my number by accident, but I could hear them all chatting , then someone ended the call. Maybe they were trying to work out what opening line they were going to use !!?

Caller: Recorded message This call showed as coming from Ringwood, Victoria. When I answered there was quite a long delay, then a recorded woman's voice told me that she was from Visa security and that my card had been used for two transactions, one for $300 on Ebay and one for $1300 in a foreign transfer. If I considered the transactions to be fraudulent then I should press button 1 to report it, or press button 2 if it was OK. Needless to say no buttons were pressed, I simply hung up. Still the same tired old scam.

After a brief bit of peace over the weekend the rubbish calls have begun in earnest today. This is the fourth unrecognised call. Like the others it has been reported already

Caller: SUPPOSEDLY VISA SECURITY About supposedly fraudulent transaction on VISA account. After reading above I agree it a scam. But this is first time I have received it. Was alerted when he asked me about what type of device I was using and if a computer was it switched on at the moment.

Claiming to be from Telstra, 50% discount. Sends you a link to reset your password on your email account. Scammers to the core, when I told them they hung up 😂

I received a call from this number and the person claimed they were from Telstra and that my internet line wasn't secure. There was a lag in the connection so I knew it was a scam. I could tell she was just reading a script as well. I told her I knew it was a scam and that I would report the number and told her what she was doing was wrong and that it was hurting people. I hung up and blocked the number.
