Crap. I hung up.

Scam caller saying there was suspicious activity on my Visa. Called the bank & they confirmed it was a phishing call.

Caller: Claim they are from Commonwealth bank

Claimed to be from CBA calling about a transaction. But they could not provide any details to identify me. They eventually hung up

Called me and was a scammer
Now we know it’s a scammer, shouldn’t Telstra block the number from being used

I did not answer. Now I check this phone number which confirmed that it is a scam.

Claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank fraud team about suspicious overseas attempted transaction.
Told him to get a proper job.

Voicemail says they’re from Visa security department and transactions have supposedly been deducted from my account.

called both me and a friend while we were working, with both our numbers being called we assumed it was important. rang back and instantly got to a voice box saying it was 'full', and with no voicemail left, we knew at that point it was a scam

Scammer as all other comments have said. Only additional information I can add is that my mobile is a fairly new number for work, and the only thing I recently signed up/gave my number out to was Afterpay!! Coincidence? Probably not

Ok. Surely this has been confirmed as a Scam call centre so why can't it be shut down. ?
