Stated from Telstra and would receive discount on bills if verified information. Believe this is a scam. Said they were is Sydney, number comes up as Ringwood Vic. I hate these scammers

Could hear voices in background, but no one spoke before I hung up. Mabe a call centre flogging something. Displayed Ringwood on the phone along with the number when it was ringing.

Apparently calling me regarding an international transaction from my account -- I don't bank with Commonwealth.

Call me yesterday on landline said about my nbn connections, I hang up and call again today, this time is use the mobile number and told me my NBN been hack so I need to check it urgent , lady on the phone kind of not give up when I said I will check with my provider.

Numerous registered complains from mid October 2023 about this scammer. Creative phishing scams range from Bank security fraud, Credit card discrepancy, NBN line fault, Discounts on Telstra bill, Government fan rebate, Amazon debit error to VISA card activation error. Just ignore, block, delete and report this unsafe number.

Constantly calling, I won't answer. I checked here and now glad I didn't answer. Getting to the point I'm going to unplug my landline.

Latest call from this number was purportedly about a Government initiative to upgrade exhaust fans. Have had this same number call previously as I've kept a record and they've (male and female callers with sub-continent accent) have "claimed" in the past to be 1) Telstra checking out a line error, 2) call about an NBN issue with our service, 3) claiming to be Visa Credit Card Dept plus, a few other calls that were noted on our phone but no message was left on our VM. I have now blocked this number as it is definitely scammers and reported to Scamwatch as I'm very much over receiving these calls

Claimed to be Telstra asking me to confirm my details. First question Confirm my phone number? WTF. I asked what number did you call me on? He became very assertive so I put the phone down and went back to watching my TV program. On checking an hour later my line was clear.
