Same deal as everyone above I think. I've received calls over the last three days from the (03) 9838 2018 number as well as (02) 8114 3800.

I've answered once and it was a man with an Indian accent (always suss from an unknown number) offering me a better deal on my Optus prepaid. I didn't hear all the details cause I was chasing my dog who got out while I was trying to figure out what he was offering, but it was something like $19 a month and $50 worth of extras. Which is stupid cause I get more value from a $30 recharge anyway. He said I'd been selected by Optus for a new prepaid plan. Whatever...I just hope they stop calling.

im with vodafone called it back 2 minutes later and got the answering machine

I live near sydney and got a call from this number too. I was in the shower at the time and when i looked at my phone it said i had two missed calls from them, 2 min apart.i thought that perhaps "03" was an inter-state number, so glad i googled it and found this forum.Its gotta be something dodgy!

I got a call from this number asking about an AWD GTR Skyline that i built and if it was for real.

I received a call from (03) 9838 2018 i live in Sydney, i think its from Melbourne, i tried to call back, the only thing i could hear is an answering machine i culdnt understand that much from it because it wasn't clear, i could only hear the last part which was "........ Melbourne Society " ?????????

oh i just received a call few minutes ago, also from an indian lady... just the same as Penny's case
but the appeared number was (02) 8114 3800, not (03) 9838 2018
