Caller: Liberty Group

These are scammers! DO NOT GIVE ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS TO THEM. They called claiming they are a financial advisory firm and were raising awareness about a new government initiative in which you could get more refund on your tax return to go towards paying off your mortgage or any other debts you have. They also said they would offer me a $100 visa prepaid card for my time. When I questioned why they didn’t have a website and that is was suspicious, they hung up. Rule of thumb - If it sounds too good to be true, it generally is.

Caller: The liberty group

I hung up once she start3d talking sounded like it was international and she called back on a mobile number. And said not to hang up and she kept asking questions about tax and then I said I hung up because I'm not interested and she kept saying why? I said I would prefer no one come to my house and asked how she knows my name and got my number. Total scam I googled liberty group and there is one in Melbourne but they do other things.

Caller: Somebody claming to be from liberty group

When I answered the call based from croydon seemed suss and when I started questioning them they hung up. I called the number back to see what the message would say and it stated this "mobile" is disconnected. They ring often and I just block their numerous numbers. If you would like to spam them back their number is 131133.

Caller: Liberty Group

Said that they were calling from South MELBOURNE however my phone suggests Croydon and the 30+ seconds it took to connect suggests an international call.
Said they were from liberty group. Felt like a waste of time and i’m busy at home with kids so have no time.
When I called back it says the phone number is disconnected. Which is super sus to me!

These guys are notoriously criminals- please report to police

I called back and it was disconnected. But this number is the same as a business listing. I don't like scams

I received a call from (03) 9736 3398 this evening and the guy said he's calling from the company called Liberty Group. The reason for the call he said was to inform me about the government initiative for working people to reduce thousands of tax without involving investments. Talked about tax depreciation schedule and so forth and when I asked I only have a home loan and no investment property and how am I going to use tax depreciation to reduce tax. He wanted to organise the meeting with their consultant and then the written advice would be presented. Busy at work and so ended the call

I called back number (03) 9736 3398 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
