Called at 5.50pm and did not leave a message. We've been registered for do not call for years yet still receive these nuisance calls!!!

I have been getting these calls constantly. The caller claims he came to my house 'in the past' and replaced my light globes with the new energy efficient ones. Then he claimed he could do it again with better more efficient globes under some government energy saving scheme. I have repeatedly told this person to stop calling me, he never listens. I have blocked his number and hope he doesn't use another line. It's getting close to Christmas so these types of scam calls are going to increase. Sadly.

Called me twice today, ist time answered but hung up on them as I detected ‘call centre’ blank then accent comes on!

I've filled up my capacity for blocking calls, new numbers keep coming, same on my mobile! If a politician could promise to stop this harassment I'd vote for them I wouldn't care which party they represented - I'm so fed up with it all

Just answered a call from this number because I was feeling feisty, but there was silence on the other end for a few seconds before the caller simply hung up. Moronic pests.

Caller: Telemarketer - quite possible scamm / phishing

Number called at midday, they wanted to speak to the proprietor, my father, I said he was unavailable, they were like "Oh, he's unavailable, alright...*hangs up*..." Seemed to have an Indian accent. Just barr them if you can on your phone. I've already added our number to the Do not call register, but still they call.

I was at work and my daughter (not at school today) answered the phone to an Indian man who, when she said she didn't know what type of light globes we had, said "screw you" repeatedly and then when she replied "excuse me?" told her again "screw you in the a**hole". She told him "so because I don't know what type of lights we have you are going to come here and screw me in the a**hole" He said yes. She then rang me at work and when I called the number back it was disconnected.

Caller ID displayed number (03) 9689 5258. Short delay prior to caller answering, audible background chatter. Scripted conversation, heavy accent. Caller identified themselves as "Chris" and wanted to come to my house to install LED lights through a government energy saving program. No such program through the Australian Government. Most probably Telemarketing SCAM. Landline phone number (03) 9689 5258 area is Melbourne City. However, it may also be located anywhere in the Australia. Do Not Call Register is a JOKE.

The number is doing the rounds again, Accents suggest callers may be from the sub-continent with absolutely nothing good to offer society.

They called and asked if they could come on Monday to replace my outdoor lights with LED ones and asked what time I'll be home. Sounds like it's a scam =/

The Victorian website looks legit though www.veet.vic.gov.au.

Calls 3-4 tames a day. Indian telemarketer or scammer!

This phone number called twice. Was some time before a woman with an indian accent answered asking if I am the home owner. Just hung up on her. Had her ring me some weeks ago as well although I am on the do not call register.

Just rings and rings, I never pick up. The joy of having 2 numbers, 1 being the equivalent to the Delete/Junk Mail box, keep ringing you losers we don't answer it lol 😂

They have called 4 times tonight alone...curious the number always shows up twice on the phone screen...unusual, Noone answers, it finally hangs up...the number connection does not exist also.
