Same old same old. Twice in two days this number has phoned and hung up after I had answered.

Hangs up when I answer. If I do callback they hang up on me. Weird!

its a form of telstra marketing. under telecommunication laws you ARE allowed to receive communication from business you are already in partnership with (i.e.have phone/net/whatever with telstra) so therefore the Do Not Call register is irrelevant in this case.
Call Telstra marketing on 1800 039 059 and follow the voice prompts to make them stop calling you.
Hope this helps ease some frustration for people

Same story here - couple of rings then they hang up.

This number called our home phone and we are registered on the do not call register. It rings 5 or 6 times but hangs up before I reach the phone. Grrr!

Ok - started getting called again after i was told i had been opted out of any Telstra marketing calls. Got really pissed and rang 125 111 again and got put thru to a number of people and eventually ended up at Telstra Unwanted Calls Area 1800 805 996). I was informed that they could email my number directly to "I.T." and remove me from their "marketing" list so i should not receive any more calls. Apparently the other reps only use a webform that gets queued for removal. BECAUSE I OBVIOUSLY DIDNT WANT TO BE REMOVED STRAIGHTAWAY BEFORE!!!....jeeezus....shame shame shame - Telstra.

I have been called twice from thsi number now. How do they manage to get my number and why do they keep calling me and other people! It's so annoying!!!

I have been getting Calls from a company named PCI for weeks now. I have recorded the date and time for the most recent. The phone always stops ringing before the answering machine cuts in and when I do answer it there is no one on the line. I have caller ID so I return the call and it says Some one from our company may have recently tried calling you, something about some brand name thing and then says the company name PCI.I have had calls at 1.32pm 1st Sep, 5.02pm 2nd of Sep, 3.11pm on 3rd of Sep, 4.52pm on 4th of Sep, 12.32pm on 5th of Sep, 1.20pm on 5th of Sep, 12.38pm on 6th of Sep and 12.52pm on 6th of Sep. I am so sick and tired of this caller

bloody hell, i am getting these calls several times a day (even late at night and early hours of the morning) and im not even with telstra!

My teacher said that they do it by ramdom... so they just pick ramdom number and yours came up so it was just by chance... i believe that if you add them as a contact, you can then set there number on reject, but i believe that only some phones have this feature. Hope this helped :)
