Unsolicited call, four times in several days ..do not know this number...

They say AGL, they’re not from AGL. It’s some third party douche trying to make collections in which your money may or may not end up actually making it back to your energy supplier. AGL will never admit they’ve hired them and you’re better off making the call yourself to check if anything is even owed cuz they’ll apparently keep nagging you even if you paid your entire huge and overpriced bill minus the last 58 cents. Like I said… pack of douches.

Says they are calling about an issue with my gas account with AGL. Immediately asks for verification details. When I told them I was uncomfortable with it, they said I could call AGL directly if I prefer. But then insists it's easier to just give verification now as it is urgent. Very convincing. I called AGL directly myself and AGL confirmed definitely a scammer.

I also do not know this number- have blocked & looked up if any complaints - there was - so assuming scam call. So over scammer !

Absolutely it’s a 3rd party organisation that has at some point been hired by AGL (and often other providers) tho they’ll never admit to it. They chase debts for profit but end up mostly repeat calling the poor buggers who forget their bill and end up 24 hours post due date or whatever. Don’t give them a damn thing, don’t trust some rando. Call your supplier yourself, sort out the problem on your own.
