Called me and presented as ACTEW AGL energy provider wo giving a reason for the call.
Then started asking me questions about my date of birth.
Of course I hang up immediately

Its the AGL accounts department - very helpfull if you have an over due AGL bill

continually calls saying "hello, hello , hello" then hangs up

They are scammers they ring saying u are behind on your bill by between $60 & $100 , and that if it's not paid it will be cut off . Or if they are impersonating Telstra they said you have a virus in your Internet if you pay now by credit card it's only $60 to remove it and the threat will be over .
Play a very convincing but ridiculously annoying they bring at least five times a day every day even rang at 11:45pm the other night

He told me he is agl agent, name John. Very weird talking. He asking all the details. He is a scam

Keep getting scam calls. Coincidence maybe but 30seconds before this number called got a call from a French number also linked to fraud within France. +33 6 46 46 05 54
