This number calls me and not answer. However, I also got phone calls from a "Unknown" number, of which a guy told me he is from AGL regarding an overdue bill, which we don't have our service with AGL. Beware of this number, definitely a scam.

Looking for Overdue bills. Told the rude A-hole I will pay online knowing it’s secure, was very very pushy to pay over the phone. Amount was right and bill was paid, but these callers need much better training, basically implying that I’m a dirty bill dodger and didn’t even ask what my circumstances were. I thought I was on a payment plan, I had no idea that amount was owing. AGL do better. Your customers deserve better.

Me: Yes, that’s me..
She: Can I ask you to verify your account. What is t hour full name?
Me: Can I ask, why you are calling me?
She: I need to verify your account before we can discuss it.
Me: Well before I verify it, I need you to tell me what it’s about.
She: it’s about your gas and electricity account.
Me: I don’t have a gas and electricity account- it’s either a gas or an electricity account and I don’t remember which utility it is.
I then said, well I’m at work and I can’t talk now.. bye and hung up.

And their incompetent staff, who need more training especially when it comes to online. I'm on a payment plan and constantly being harrassed for payment.

Very unprofessional and rude staff.
When I had this call, I was aksed to provide my personal info over the phone.
I suspected it could be scam call and asked her to provide staff ID to confirm If she is truly from AGL, she said "I' m talking about your overdue account and you should know by now Its not a scam with these sort of details.
How careless this staff can be! When so.much is happening with ID theft !
AGL pls should train thier staff !!!
