I just confirmed with Telstra that this was a scam.

stated it was Damian from Telstra business, tried to call back - no reply. 4 hang up calls in 24 hours on 2 mobile phones from the same number. no calls from this number on the land line.

this number is a telstra number. If this number calls you, its to advise that you are nearing the cut off date of your copper services and need to look at moving your services to the NBN if you wish to continue them. This is not a scam. If you have not moved your services to the NBN, especially if you run a business, its prompting you to look at moving your services to the NBN, and its likely you would only have around 3 months to do so, otherwise your risk your services being cut off.

Missed the call but get a text message to email a telstra team member (pretending to look legit). Dodgy as hell as I am not even with telstra

Claimed to be Telstra and then asked for my date of birth (a typical scam identity-theft move). When I refused and told her this was a scam, got upset, put me on to their supervisor, who hung up on me without me saying a word. If this really was Telstra, then this type of tactic is a free lunch for scammers, the procedure are unprofessional and the training is irresponsibly lacking.

I called back number (03) 9648 0000 reached IVR for Telstra Shop.
