Go a call today from the number at 11.37am. I didn't pick it up but it went straight to voice mail and nothing was left. No hang up sound, nothing...just silence.

Was very weird.

We are getting a lot of calls each day from folks who are returning "Missed Calls" on their mobile.Our phone number is 9552 1400  We are a Manufacturing Co is Braeside, in the metals trade sector.Note the first 4 digits - our number is 9552The Star SMS number apparently is 9522Is the Caller ID sometimes being sent wrong, so when people hit "use number" it call us?, Or are some people transposing 9522 into 9552? Some call from their mobile, some from a landline.We get 20+ calls a day (and night) from people saying they are returning a missed call. We didn't call them. It is driving us nuts. The callers are not happy either! Alan.

call came in 17.06.2008. fortunately, in a meeting. i normally return missed call- only to those numbers i recognise/stored as i never give out this number except to close family and friends... curious though, i googled the number (03) 9522 1400. thank you for this site, i didn't have to endure what other people here have suffered. whatever happens to privacy and telecommunication laws? and as one concerned parent said, those kids/teenagers that have limited mobile budget? this has got to stop- maybe i should start something.... hmmmmmmm?

Called me today but i missed the call. Then it was engaged for ages when i tried to ring bcak, no doubt they were on the phone ripping some other person off. Dodgie!

I just got a call from (03) 9522 1400 today. Didnt know the number so thought if it was important they would leave a voice msg, but nothing. Typed the number into google and found this site. Just wanted to ask if all of you are on pre-paid mobiles? Because i am and i dont know if i can check if they have charged me. It says Subscription cost is $6.60 per week on the "starsms" website. If they are calling me does that me i have a subscription?.....
