Caller: Next Step Foundation (for domestic violence after care) (03) 9501 5901 Female caller asking for either $100 - $150 for domestic violence victims. This was the second time I have had this call. Same smiling voice, same sales pitch that she has a rescue pack almost complete, she has 2 people that have each donated $100 each, and needs a third to complete a 'care package' of $300. I believe this to be a scam, since she does not respond realistically to any reason put to her that you cannot afford it. This usually means a scammer with zero conscience. I think I will keep her on the line for as long as possible next time...just to keep her busy and have a laugh at her expense ... this is called scambaiting ... give it a try

How many numbers do these cretinous scammers use? It never stops, no matter how many numbers you block. Please don't ever answer calls from these sociopathic scum suckers. If anyone legitimate calls, they will leave a message and you can call back or intercept the message.

Bumping this comment as I've just been spammed by these people - https://nextstepfoundation.com.au/ states specifically that they do not engage in cold calling, this is definitely a scam.

Call came through on mobile from Clayton. Answered call, covered mic and did not speak. Woman said "hello" several times, "can you hear me?" I said nothing. She hung up. Number now blocked.
