Find this rude and will not use any company on their service

Assumed it was Energy Watch based on comments above (Googled number following call) - caller hung up on me when I answered so unable to confirm 100%. However, call came soon after I had input my electricity account details on the energywatch.com.au website.

no idea who rang answered this number and noone at the other end. just an open line. not calling tgem back either.

I answered incoming call (03) 9452 9579 with my friendly "hello" greeting. The person on the other end decided to hang up in my ear without a word spoken. Should you call again, I will respond in kind, after I explain telephone etiquet. Courteousy costs nothing; rudeness costs.

Wow talk about aggressive marketing. We have just changed to AGL so can't actually change at this time. I received an email to "compare pricing" so thought, okay I'll give it a try ( understand they do NOT compare all providers just ones that pay them)!

As it insisted on a phone number I used a VoIP number we have but never answer. Within minutes they called! The amazing thing, they searched by address to find our actual Telstra number & called some hours later, again we did not answer.

Talk about persistent!!!

Little outraged really. No opt out - I was on the internet with the understanding Energy Watch was a government run web tool to find out if you're getting a good energy deal

I did an online energy comparison and it REQUIRES a phone number to get the comparison information, but does not give an option to say DO NOT CALL ME. so on returning thier call i informed them of this and was told it is an automated call service and it calls anyway (a load of crap its designed that way and can be changed) so i demanded that my number be REMOVED from thier call list and never to be called again by thier system.. we shall see how that pans out i suppose!

This number is from the Energy Watch comparison website .... so so so sorry I have used this site .,.. so far I have blocked 5 numbers attached to the same site!!!!!!!!
Can’t use the appropriate language on this site to explain my utter annoyance

Same, just compared rates on Energy Watch, call came in and I answered but no response. I will be blocking this number.

answered number ... so sounded like a kindergarten in the back ground ... said hello several times then wasn’t engaged .. blocked now

Usual hang up as soon as you answer so I blocked the caller. Sick of these calls
