Called these guys back, it was Energy Watch. All I did was ask them to take me out of their dial list because my business with them was finished, and hopefully that solves it. No biggie.

When I left AGL, these bastards rang or messaged me 31 times according to my phone log. Now another ,13 times this week after using internet "comparison" site.

AGL from comparison either electricity or gas when asked what state they were calling from he replied I'm actually overseas in the Philopeans when is asked why it came up with a Melbourne number he replied that is the main office and I have had numerous phone calls since and blocked all of them!

It's Energy Watch. If you are checking online for electricity companies comparisons Energy Watch will call you to assist you choose.... probably getting kick backs!

I did go on the compare electricity site, you are prompted to give your number just to get anywhere just to find the online info is useless, but calling after 8pm I deem as rude! I thought they weren't supposed to contact you after 7pm. I feel these companies just harass you, because of lack of info and leaving a message of background noise I deem them as a unreliable source, if they can't have common decency I wouldn't be using their business.

Yep electricity people calling! Its crap how I couldn't receive an energy comparison without leaving my phone number! Now they don't stop calling :(

Numerous calls over past few days. Have saved the number in contacts as junk so I know not to answer. I did the power survey as well. Same story, no one there and hangs up.

Yep. They are a place called Energy watch. I didn't even get an energy comparison quote, so I don't know where they got my number either! I am also on the do not call register! They do to leave message. Just tell them not to ring you again or you will report them.

Yep same here.....they have been ringing every day and I just keep ignoring them everyday!!!!! 3 times today so far!!!!

Scam set up after trying to compare energy providers.
Will report to Red Energy and Telstra, and ask them to block all calls!

Ring at all hours on my business phone, even though we are on the do not call registry, when they realise its a business just hang up but keep calling! Ended up blocking the number

Started receiving calls within 5 minutes of being online comparing energy prices, its ridiculous that you can't access this info without entering phone details. Didnt bother answering

same. another scam where in good faith you compare energy prices and then harassed for weeks after. Negotiate directly with your supplier, you will get a reasonable result and wont have to deal with the nonsense !
