I answered the call, it was silent. So I put it on hold and called the number, then added it to a conference call...5 times. Then the call centre staff answered...5 of them...I was in stitches on the floor.

This number calls 3 times a day, when I say hello it hangs up...

Energy Australia: Constant calling saying I have unpaid final bill (strange as I'm not with them for my power or Gas) first call was on 16th March 2018 saying I owed $359.28, & was overdue & they will take legal action, I told them send me a paper bill & I will follow it up, then about 5 calls a day for the next week when you answer they hang up then on 23rd March same number basically word for word as first call but now I apparently owe $717.75. MMMM wonder how they got my number & who's bill they want me to pay. More fool them as I am recording the calls $ if it keeps up they will get a legal letter stating they must cease & desist or I will sue for mental anguish & harresment! lets see how they like the tables turned on them!!!

It's not energy australia, it's a scam. Victorian number routed to a call centre in philippines or something. Claims to be Energy Australia and will try and tell you that you have an outstanding bill or similar to get your credit card details.

I keep getting blank voicemails from this number.

rings once goes to voicemail says very softly call 1800 3?? ??? you can never hear the rest of the number

Even if it is Energy Australia TREAT it as a scam coz there Energy rates are Criminal! Don't PAY them the ridiculously high Energy rates just ignore all call or Block this number!They like to mkae up FAKe debts too!

Well I just got a call and I certainly do not owe Eneergy Aust any unpaid bills - scam

It is not a scam, the company is Energy Australia following up on unpaid bills. They use a landline so that you answer the call. Otherwise their call centre comes through as unknown and we all know we don't answer unknown calls.

I called back number (03) 9422 2400 reached IVR of Energy Australia.

Truecaller app tells me this is a scammer pretending to be Energy Australia(EA). They work both this phone number and email at the same time. My energy bill was overdue so I arranged an extension with the real EA. I paid it well before agreed time. I got an email a week after my payment arrangement was due (4th July) and in the email they knew that the bill was extended to 4th July (are they listening?) They wrote that since I didn't make my final payment it has now gone to collectors or I could pay immediately if I clicked the link in the email. Hovering mouse over link showed dubious link. Also email address is similar but not from EA. EA's email address is noreply @ billing.energyaustraliaonline.com.au Scammer's email address is noreply @ energyaustraliaonline.com.au . I was unaware at first. Because the email said my bill was about $50 more than EA's bill I rang EA using the phone number on my legitimate bill. After they confirmed that I did not owe the extra $50 I got suspicious, especially because minutes after my phone call to EA I received a spam call from someone pretending to be from EA. Thank God for Truecaller app. It showed me clearly what was going on. I find it amazing that they knew I had just rung EA and tried to call me minutes after. I reported the scam email to EA. They confirm this scam on their website.

Always leaves a silent message on my message bank. Mustn't be all that important if they can't be bothered speaking.

Keeps calling even though I've blocked it. Leaves voicemail with nothing in it or with a weird sound that sounds like a money counter. Calls at different times during the day

I got about 20 calls today from this no. No one talking back. Called and informed the lady who answered from Manila.
