I answered and the called hung up their end

Thanks to this site, I answered and said f*ck you several times!

In the past 2 weeks I've been inundated with calls from (03) 9340 8196 and numerous other numbers. In total there's been 72 calls in 15 days, on some occasions it's been late in the evening . I don't answer calls from a number I don't know - if it's important they'd leave a message or send me an email.

Caller: Scammers

Scammers that want to separate you and/or the idiot government (carbon credits) from your money. For those that are inclined to, stop calling the number back. You are wasting your time and might give them more information about you. You are better off checking on Reverse Australia where you can see comments about the number.

Rang 3 days in a row just before midday. Answered phone. Lengthy pause then caller Indian or Asian asked "Are you XXX X (My first name but the formal version of). I hang up and blocked the number..
Yes I am on the do not call register for whatever good it does.

I didn’t answer the first time but when I answered the second time, they hung up on me. then I checked this website to see it is a scam. number is blocked.

I had a txt from ANZ Bank saying exactly the same amount this morning. I have never been or had an ANZ account. Now just had a call from a female, knew my name and I told her I was cooking. She hung up.

Claimed to be calling about Federal Government Solar Rebates asking if I already have solar

Sick of the wankers. Nothing but scammers calling through. Why don't phone companies disconnect these numbers, charge them for disconnection, and refuse to provide new numbers to them associated with account holder or related companies. This would reduce the volume of calls significantly for everyone.

* I did try to return call 3 times as I am expecting someone to call me back ... thank god they didn't answer back the call. But it no dial in tone either silent! Block this number on my phone NOW!! Thank you for letting me post on here to help others out there!!!

Dont know who it was or what they wanted I just yelled a not very nice word into the phone and told them it was a Saturday...you dont call people on a Saturday....they hung up.....I called the number back and it couldnt be connected

Scam call.....claimed to be from a company something "Solar solutions"....when I asked more questions about the company "Mary" transferred me to "Sam" and when he did not want to answer my questions he hung up on me.

I didn’t answer but checked this website. Thank you for this website, I can block the caller now with confidence that I’m not blocking a real caller. This is getting so ridiculous! It interrupts you unnecessarily and adds to stress levels.

This number called me, didn’t leave a message, after seeing these posts, I’ve blocked the number.
