Answer the call but caller just hangs up. Bloody annoying to say the least.

Wanted to know how much we were spending on gas and electricity so as to provide "$450" dollars a year in savings.

I asked them the name of the company and they gave me the website address.

I quickly searched the address.They are located in South Australia.

I asked the caller where they were located, she stated with a thick Indian accent that they were located in South Melbourne.

I asked to speak to someone with Australian accent to verify that they were in Australia.

A male came on the phone but without an Australian Accent.

He asked why I wanted to speak to a person with an Australian accent, and because the address that the previous caller had given me did not turn up on a web search and the phone number displayed showed negative comments, I wanted to confirm they were calling from within Australia.

He then hung up the phone.

Continually call and ask for Mrs Aziz. No one of that name has lived here for 10years at least !! They do not give up, various numbers and names. Absolute pests.

Thank you reverse Australia. Number blocked,but, there are a row of these numbers. Telcos need to work harder to eradicate them. 📞👮‍♀️👮‍♀️

Claimed to be from the Government wanting to know something about Solar Energy. I couldn't verify who I was talking to, so just hung up. As dodgy as they get.

Scam call about electricity prices.

Caller: As all state

2 calls this week same number. Telcos are doing a bit but not enough. Many of these are advertising (Government) energy savings that should be banned

Clear scam. Told me about my new discounts for electricity.
I countered with asking if he wanted to buy an NFT for $10K.
Strangely enough, he hung up on me.
This seems to be the quickest way to get rid of a scammer while having some fun.

Indian accent wanted to talk about my electricity bill. I told him I was off the grid and didn't get an electricity bill. The most annoying part was that he asked for me by name

He knew my surname. Had an accent. I’m sure he’s phoned before. I hung up and checked this site . I’ve blocked the number . Thanks for the heads up

Third day in a row that this number has rang, that's 10 phone calls in three days. Asian voice offering a better deal on my electricity. I keep telling then I am totally off the grid and don't get an electricity bill but they still keep ringing.

When I rang back no one picked up - came here and my suspicion verified, 2nd call from a scammer today.

Indian woman wanted to discuss the new electricity rates that were just announced. I told her it wouldn't worry me because I was totally off the grid. Phone went dead.

I noticed when the call came through it was already on my blacklist. I did not pick up.
Thank you reverse Australia and all the people who post as I no doubt blocked them in the past due to comments on this site. I never pick up numbers I do not know or if the number appears on my digital display as being blacklisted from the past.
If a message is not left when I do not pick up the calls, I immediately look up reverse Australia to see if more information can be accessed on these low life people who need to be re-educated on how to be a worthwhile person in this world.
We should not have to deal with this continual targeted intrusion into our lives.

Scammers selling energy.
Started off by stating they weren't selling anything then bagged my current energy company for being overseas owned ( all whilst speaking in a thick Indian accent) LOL.........Liars, liars, liars......

Hung up when i picked up the phone

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Again like all the other comments.
Never answer unknown numbers letting them go to 101.
If important they would leave a message
Scammers don't seem to be intelligent enough to leave a message 🤔
These numbers should be followed up by Telco but alas someone must be making money from these allocated numbers 😲
It's the annoyance of the phone ringing thinking it is of importance & realising it's morons trying to extract money from you.
Fat chance with us, just bugger off.
