Caller: NAB Business banking

NAB Business banking asking why payment was missed on business credit card. Call nonstop several days in a row but don't leave a voicemail or message or email or anything - so looks like a spam call but it's not, it's their "chase up late payments" team from NAB.

had a few calls from this number now. Smells like a spoffer

Okay, so, I had this number call me 4 times yesterday. I answered the second one. They acted similar to a debt collector, not disclosing. I didn't confirm anything for them. They eventually claimed to be NAB. So I ended the call, rang the fraud line and asked if they've been trying to reach me. He said, no one has attempted to call you from nab in the last 6 weeks.... that number has called 4 more times since then.

Asked for my partner by name?

If it was legit they would surely provide satisfactory detail around identity and purpose. I have also received a number of calls. If NAB why do they provide no detail and sound so unprofessional? I smell a scam.

You've been deceived. They claim to be NAB bank, but they are not, and the details of accounts and overdue amounts they call about are bogus.

Caller claimed to be from NAB and had my name and business name, but the call was fraudulent and claimed a credit card payment was overdue. However no such credit card or overdue payment exists. As soon as I began to ask for clarification, the call hung up. There were various red flags, but one thing is sure: these people are not who they claim to be. Beware.

This number (03) 9322 6686 is not a spam number, it is the NAB bank calling about late payments on your card or personal loan. They don't leave messages, they just keep calling. Pay your bills and they will leave you alone.
