Caller: Scammers Pretending to Be Telstra Heavily accented person talking some rubbish about Telstra NBN, but Telstra would never contact you about that. I live in an apartment that has an imbedded network, so no NBN connection is possible. (Building already has a private fiber connection) wanted to know my address (They should know, as I pointed out) then my date of birth. Became agitated when I said they were scammers, hung up when I laughed at them.

Caller: Telstra I can confirm this number is Telstra. I had a call-back booked regarding our Telstra/NBN upgrade from FTTN to FTTP. Our Case Manager, Christina, called from this number, at the scheduled time, to my mobile and home phones. Unfortunately, I both calls but she did leave messages on both phones. Hence, why I know this number is legitimately Telstra.

Caller: Telstra NBN connection Absolutely wasn't a scam call. It's 4:55 pm, i just had a call from this number (i didn't answer). Just this morning i had organized for my telstra connection to move from my current address to our new home which we move into next week. Whilst writing this, a confirmation text from the guy who rang me and left message as well as an email to my registered email address with telstra to confirm the NBN connection at our new premises. I deal with scam emails and calls daily - i screen all my calls that i don't recognize the number to my business, this one was fine. not a scam number in my opinion.

Was expecting a call from Telstra, but they knew nothing about my case and I had already spoken to someone at Telstra. Seems like a total scam.

NBN have a FTTP Upgrade program, the caller has probably offered you a higher speed plan (which then qualifies you for the FTTP Upgrade).
It's all done via Retail Service Providers (RSP),

Caller: Scammer This number is a scam call. I have had several calls from the (03) 9319 2000 in a week and with no messages left. This forum suggests it could be Telstra and not a scam. I called Telstra and they said it is likely a scam and they don't call from landlines and it was not them calling. I suggest people block this number.

This is a scam call. I called Telstra to query if it was in fact them calling. The Telstra rep said they don't call from land line numbers and to ignore this number. I suggest people block the number.
