Telstra (132200) says this is not a genuine number (03) 9296 0000 of theirs so be careful

This one is a genuine telstra number. They called me back from this number sometimes when we were setting up a couple of new business lines. Safe number

The Telstra overseas call centers are totally compromised, they will pass-on your details to scammers. If you return the call to the number they are offering you don't know who you are calling, because even the scammers know more about Telstra procedures and policies than many genuine Telstra employees.

This was 100% Telstra. I called them on the 13 22 00 after getting a recorded Telstra call, and he checked whilst I was on the line that it was legit, paid my bill, and then this number called me back and it was the same guy I spoke to on the 13 22 00 number just checking I was all sorted.

My voicemail picked up a convo between 2 people. One asking are you ready to record the call? Response yes. Sounds like they are recording voice so who knows what they’re planning to do with it but it’s not safe.
