    I answered a call from them today, and when I picked up two female (Australian accents) were complaining about their working conditions. Then the call cut out. Have blocked now.

    No my name is not Pia they are the PIA ,calling from some hearing place. The guy speaks good English but has the weirdest accent I have ever heard. So the number is now blocked and listed as WEIRDO hearing, calls constantly, needs something else to do with his time.

    As everyone must be aware now......SCAM callers ca spoof just about any number they wish, so when we see see a number in our caller ID the first impression is we take that the caller is actually calling from that number.......you should no longer believe anything you see......if they wanted to, & it's been done thousands of times, these SCAMMERS have used 100% real active numbers.......& then the poor owner of that number catches all the abuse about calls they didn't make......Is the Hearing Center actually calling you, or is it just a SCAMMER spoofing a legitimate number? So, believe nothin of which you see.

    PS....this probably won't happen, but it very well could, so let's say if the SCAMMERS spoofed your Mum's number, imagine when you answer the phone & it's not her!

    Now, imagine all the abuse she'd get if the SCAMMERS used her number & made 10,000 SCAM calls with it. All those abused people wanting to vent...... Telstra would suggest she change the number she has had for 30 years, rather than fixing their system so SCAMMERS & the like couldn't spoof numbers!

    In the mean time.......the SCAMMERS win.

    I use the Telstra Call Guardian 301 Portable Phone with Answering Machine & extra handset. I see the SCAMMERS call, but I was never bothered by even a ringing phone when they called......simply because unless the number is in your contact list....your known friends, family, or business contacts.....unless the calling party records an introduction, my phone wont ring for me to decide on taking the call or not..........99.99% of the time SCAMMERS don't leave an introduction, so you guessed it......my phone don't even ring when they call....it just notes that the "number" called for your convenience & information, but you were not bothered. You can also block it if you wish......the Call Guardian can block thousands of numbers for you, & those numbers will never, ever bother you again!

    Funny enough that I wish I did have a hearing problem as I would not be able to hear you call me repetatively over and over again, it is simply not right , this is called Harrassment.

    They have rang me 10 times in the last 5 weeks but my phone has blocked them so I don't hear the call but I think this is the number I've already rung a few months ago and told them not to call me and it's back calling me again

    3 calls over 2 days so far - I will ever answer an unknown number - if they wish contact they should leave a message. I would love to know how they got my mobile number anyway as it is listed nowhere and only given to select people.

    We have an unlisted number and it is only given to family and friends. Have had numerous calls from this number for weeks including Saturdays. They always hang up when they get the answering machine. They are becoming a real nuisance.

    Had this Number for a few day in a row approximately same time each day. I ignored it as it doesn't have full number of correct digits in a real Phone Number.

    These people are a f&@kn pain in the rear end phoned 6 times in one week 2 in one day wanting to speak to a miss rush more phoned them on 1800 676 263 gave them a bloody serve ,don't phone (03) 9264 9101 as you won't get through just listening to music

    It may well be legitimate, as I have had a hearing test before, but each time I answer, the call disconnects straight away. Probably because of the phone system they're using, but it's really annoying, so I've blocked them from my number.

    This number has called my home phone and mobile number every day including weekends. They call several times a day. They have been calling for the last year. I am so over this mumber calling me, the called Saturday 28/9/19 both home and mobile. I phone them quite upset. I gave a lady my two numbers and she inform me my name would be taken off the list. Guess what this number has called twice today Monday 30/9/19 both home and mobile. Do they not understand ENGLISH. DO NOT PHONE MY NUMBERS. SO OVER IT.

    National Hearing Centre call back system. Have been reviewing multiple calls a day for weeks. Called them back and was told there is a major problem with their system. Asked to have my mobile and home numbers removed from their systems. Will see if that solves the problem.
