I'm a Carlton member as well and have been getting 1 to 2 calls a day from this number.  Good that there are people here that have found out who the caller is.

this number calls, when i answer, it just hangs up!
If i call back, it says number is busy.
Very annoying! but glad i'm not the only one!!! hahaha

It was quite funny, when i answered this call. It was a guy from origin energy posing as a representative from the Carlton Football club, of which I am a member. I dunno how he got my number, but anyway, he was trying to sell me origin energy's electric plans.

I aint got no enemies. I aint done nothin to nobody. I aint takin the wrap for somethin I aint done.I dont want no heavy breathing purrrrvert callin me and hangin up just when I sweetly say "hello dude what you want?"
Take notice all you bad and heavy breathin purrrrverts from (03) 9246 7100 who keep playing with the phone, and stop callin me and doin the heavy breathin routine cos I aint done nothin to deserve it.

Found the culprit! Origin Energy.
They called again yesterday about 1pm and told me they wanted
to give me a "loyalty bonus". They knew my name and address but
when they wanted my DOB I told them to get lost. I understand
this is, basically, a scam to sign you up for a contract period
in order to stop you churning to a different supplier. I wonder
if they realise how many people they are annoying? 9th May 2008.
