Hey I got this number too with this exact same number and message just that it say my name and to look for Ruben URGENTLY at (03) 9236 6388 (09/48393)Anybody out there know what is really going on?

Most probably from debt collector. Maybe credit card. I used to work with a debt collector company. This is the modus operandi. Usually the name are not even real. Same ppl using different name. Sometime they forget which the name they use, so they themselves got confused. Sometime they cooked up funny story like you won something & they need to know your new address. Don't fall for it.

I got a similar message from the number 62000 but it adds 'kindly remit your rhb pyt urgently and rtn call to HASHIM at (03) 9236 6388'. Furthermore, i have had phone calls from someone who claims they needed to talk to me 'regarding bank matters' (not stating which bank btw and was rather unwilling to divulge what the phone call was for) when i did not pick up the phone myself. Well clearly a reputed bank would not do so via means of a mere text message, or a dodgy phone call.

Conclusion: SCAM.

Please do not fall for such text messages, or any SUSPICIOUS phone calls. Like what i just did, i googled the number and voila, its claim is not genuine.

Same as Sid, I bought my new DiGi number last week and the next day, I got the call from this Global CMC. I already told them I just bought the simpack and I am not MR. YEE CHEE SENG, they even ask me where I bought it. What stupid people.The caller left voicemail with his number 016-2085223 which I think is a number for working purposes. You guys can try call him back to pay back for the time of disturbance that he created.Should I just call back and ask them to update their system? Which I don't really think they would do?

So as to keep this thread going, I also got an SMS from this number asking to return call to one MELISSA.Even if I had a debt, what's the use, since the said person would not be around or I would be asked to be on hold and to spend money on my own call?

i got a call from this number (03) 9236 6388, asking me to return back their call...who are they?Does anyone know?
