I called back number (03) 9200 8119 reached IVR for a company called Fines Victoria.

I rang civic compliance on the number from there official website to check and they told me that 92008119 isn't there number and it's a scam so beware

I received a call today, once I answered and said my name, I was hung up on??

Didn't get to answer, though I can tell its related to the CCV. Odd, as I don't live or drive in Victoria, or drive at all for that matter. Its odd because 9 days later I had a message and a call from "CCV" (this was a few months ago and I deleted the message). The number for "CCV" doesn't even show up at all, which is rather weird. Reckon its a scam

got a call from this number around 5:50PM, came up on the screen as "SPAM - CIVIC COMPLIANCE" because i got "true caller" app on my phone.I didn't answer, never do. it allows me to see who's spammer and who's not. i suggest downloading the app.

Missed call. Called back and says it is civic compliance and you can check the fine at www.finesonline.vic.gov.au but that is actually the wrong address for Fines Victoria.
Number is similar though to Fines Victoria (03) 9200 8111
Unsure if genuine or not.

Called them back it's legit, they saved me from getting a late fee on a fine I misplaced

Answered the phone and they hung up. Rang the number back and it is Civic Compliance Victoria making a courtesy call about an outstanding fine.

This is a number from the Victorian Government - Civic Compliance!
They called me today, but didn't leave a message.
I checked and I actually had a speeding ticket, which was due 3 days ago.
Good that I checked the number, as it saved me further hassle.
I don't think the number is a scam, as it is withing the block of numbers used by them!

Say they are from Civic Compliance but reveal details of why they are calling before confirming who they are speaking to, which is illegal.

Have had two missed calls overvthe last 4 days from this number, no message left. Today I called it back, voice recording says it's civic compliance but they are closed and to leave a message (it's 3:30pm). I've got no overdue fines and no idea why civic compliance would be calling, they would be open onna weekday at this time too. Searched further and have found reports that it's a scam so I sure as hell won't be giving them any info if they call back
