Caller: Recorded message This call showed as coming from Melbourne, Victoria. When I answered there was a delay of several seconds, then a recorded female voice told me that she was from Visa security and that two transactions had been made using my card. If I considered the transactions to be fraudulent then I should press button to speak to their security department. Needless to say I didn't press any buttons, just hung up. Same old scam.

Caller ID showed a Melbourne number. After a few seconds an Australian female recorded message said it was Visa security and that someone was attempting to use my card to make a purchase for a certain amount. If it was not an authorised purchase I had to press a button; if it was authorised I had to press a different button. I suspected it was a scam as they didn't use my name. I hung up.

Caller: Telstra Said she was from Telstra & that my IP address had changed from private to public. Told me this about 4 times & when I asked what the call was about & then what are you going to do to fix it (I knew she was dodgy) she hung up. I had a similar call supposedly from Telstra last week as well.
