suspect this is probe group - debt collectors

Looked up number and rang it from a Landline as it keeps phoning my mobile. Company is PROBE debt collectors. I have no debt and am sick of being harassed by this company. they need to be stopped. Putting a complaint into Fair Trading and Consumer Watchdog. Everyone should do the same and shut this company down. They have history! Two number (03) 9190 4895; (03) 9093 0671

Say I owe a debt from Energy Australia, I've never been with Energy Australia, calling at 8pm at night is rude! Before calling at this time of day get your facts right, very rude person became intimidating so I hung up.

Caller: HARRASSMENT UNSOLICITED

This number (03) 9190 4895 calls repeatedly & every week & unsolicitedly to the point of harrassment.
I do not answer callers that I'm not associated & they never leave messages.
If they are supposedly debt collectors then officially by law they must first send out letters with their company information & the details of the matter, these are our rights, before they start calling people.
Please don't give out your details to any caller or any one you don't know, to save yourself from being scammed.
I will report this to officials ACCC, ASIC, FAIR TRADING & Scamwatch.
Please, make an effort to do the same for us all to be heard - Enough is enough.

This for everyone, Debt collecters are dangerous to your credit file. It may or not be a debt by mistake. When they call, tell them you dont give personal information over the phone. Ask them to email you a copy of the debt, if legite they will have your email on file and then you can google the companies name and check it out. They are only allowed to call 3 times a week never on Sundays. After that it;s harrasment and go to AFCA and report them.

Call every second day. I dont owe anyone anything so I reported to TIO. Caller says she doesn't recognise Australia's TIO. Just hang up...or better still don't answer them.

This number is a scam network from a bogus company claiming to be from synergy energy & probe debt collections
Don’t give them the time of day
& most importantly don’t fall for it

Caller: they called hen it went silent they have been doing it for a few years now

they called me on my work phone first then a minute later on my personal mobile how did they know my 2 numbers??This is suspicious as i have had hacking problems for 4 years which i cannot shake.
