I answered and told them I not interested and that is when the incessant calling started.. They may be a legit company but they use illegal practices in harassing the hell out of people.. This number is for public outreach, they will be ringing as you have wither signed up, applied for a job or have made a past enquiry. They are a fundraising company that work with childrens hospitals, green peace, cancer council ect. I had a job lined with them but i decided to go down a different track. They are not scammers, just a charity council. :)

This is a number operated by a charity, or operates for a company you have a current account with - the do not call list does not stop these types of calls.

Everyone to stop these calls, go on to www.donotcall.gov.au and register All your numbers on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" It's free, it might take up to 30 days for the registration to get around the system. but once your on the list, by law. telemarketers are not allowed to call you.

I signed up to cancer council victoria within the last week, I get a phonecall from this number claiming to be from the CCV and they were wanting to give me a welcome message or something, I said I was busy cause at work and to call me again tomorrow.

I am getting multiple calls a day from this number... is there anyway to stop them? I am not answering them, and they leave no message.

they seem to try and contact me with persistent regularity. I don't answer unknown numbers and they don't leave a message. Glad I looked them up as it would appear to be sold information from a third party trying some form of scam.

I got messed around into signing up for a gym... The guys name was Aaron and now he won't stop calling me this is a massive scam

They said they were calling from Oxfam, now I see they have used different names according to this page. Should be careful of this number, especially giving away credit card details.

This number only contacts you if you have completed a survey or signed a petition about a charity that they work for, they have a charity ABN number so the information you are giving then is useless unless they have that ABN number, they are fundraisers but they don't cold call you. You would have had to put your name and number somewhere about the charity for them to call you. No credit card fraud, no cold calling and no scamming.
