Had numerous calls which hang up as soon as you say who is it so bloody rude

I got a call from this number I have no idea who and why they called me there was no message left on my voicmail I have no clue who it is and they keep calling me and it gets quite fustrating I don't punch numbers into my phone and randomly calling other people's number it's not funny and it's getting on people's nerves I get these types of calls like every twice a week and I am fed up I want to know who it is so they can be stopped.. To put a stop to this

Keeps calling me. Public outreach consultancy. Some lady knew my name and I don't even know them. Omg they call 6 times a day. I am on the do not call list. Grr

Rang at 730pm, didn't leave a message. I have read this, and blocked them.

I continue to get calls daily from this and other numbers which all lead back to the public outreach answering service (robotic).
I have now texted and informed them my mobile number is on the do not call register and I will be making a complaint to the ombudsman if they continue to pester me.
So far I have missed every call but keep getting messages stating I've missed a call but no message was left.

I called back number (03) 9188 4205 reached IVR for a company called Public Outreach Consultancy.

They tell me that numerous people will call as they are a big organisation that have multiple companies... someone must have made up their number and picked mine. One more time and I will go to the ombudsman

I have received a call from this number most evenings after 7:00pm. It's on my work phone so I just get a missed call notification. No message has been left. I don't respond either.

Called my mobile and said he was from "Environment Australia". Asked for me by name. I seldom give out my mobile number as I only use it for emergencies, so asked how he had my number. He said it must have been because I signed a petition for Change.org (I may well have, but, if asked, would only have given a landline). He launched into a long speech about the work his organisation does, and when I cut him short and asked what he wanted of me, he said "ongoing support". When asked if that meant a donation, he was evasive and wanted to explain the "scheme". I hung up.

called 6.30pm CST and hung up before I could answer. On call back says it is Public Outreach Consultancy. Press 1 if you have recently applied for a job with them. Press 2 if you have recently signed up to a Charity through them. Press 3 if you haven't recently applied for a job or signed up for a Charity but had a call from them!
Needless to say I didn't press anything.

A woman called from this number on 15 July, and said she met me on the street at Fremantle Melbourne (Fremantle is in WA) last year. I told her that I have never been there, then she hanged up the phone.
