It's another version of the old NAB scam. With different apps they try sneaky ways to access your computer and access your bank details and passwords etc. Never co operate, always hang up.

Caller: Call centre

As soon as I heard the sub continental accent and noisy background I hanged up the phone.

Caller: Heavy Indian accent

Says a virus has been detected on my pc. Asking for details, my name, address etc. He got nowhere!

Caller: Scammer

Sub continental scamming scum.

Called 3 times. Nil response when I picked up the receiver. Absolute nuisance.

Caller: Six calls in two days

Received three calls yesterday and so I blocked it... just checked now and the phone has silently blocked another three calls today from the same number. NBN landline. No messages left.

Repeated nuisance call to my landline, several times a day. Sub-continent voice then hangs up. Very annoying. Been going on for a couple of weeks now.

Caller: I don't know

Calls multiple times a day. My phone flags potential spam & does do an audible ring tone.

Called at 8pm so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message!
