Caller: Spammer pretending from Telstra

You'll hear silence for few seconds until somebody picked up and said they are from Telstra and you have internet issue. They will ask you to connect to internet, etc to get access to your computer.

Ask them about which Telstra account number that has issue. Tell them you have five accounts. So, which one having the problem. They'll keep saying only billing department has them. Keep asking them which one having the problem. They won't be able to tell you about the account number and will hang up on you soon. :)

Caller: Scammer claiming to be PayPal

Scam call claiming a large PayPal authorisation has been made and to contact an “operator” to cancel.
Typical “how can I help you” and hang up after saying that this was an inbound call and I’d like to know why

Caller stated he was from Commonwealth Bank Cyber Security and his name was Gregory Smith. After laughing out loud and telling him his name isn't Gregory Smith and that he's a scammer, he started yelling abuse at me. I laughed some more and hung up.

Scammer, automated recording of a woman’s voice saying I owed money for damages to property and my card would be charged.

Woman's recorded voice saying I owed money for online shopping. I do not shop online so I hung up.

Automated message said they were from PayPal saying I had been charged over $300

picked up and realized it was a scam after a short pause before she responded

Claims to be from Commonwealth Bank Security. Has called from several different numbers after I questioned the authenticity. Now leaves abusive messages.

Claimed to be from Telstra and that I had an issue with internet and was going to be cut off. I needed to give them access to resolve the issue. I asked where they were calling from and the caller said 412 exhibition street, Melbourne. When I asked how the weather was today they hung up. Indian accent.

Missed the call from (03) 9123 1096 on my mobile. Tried to call back a few times, only to get an engaged signal every time. Am assuming it is a scammer or telemarketer so have now blocked the number.
