Caller: Some random stating they were Telstra Internet

This is a HOAX / SCAM - BEWARE. I played along with this idiot for a while until I told him he was full of S%&T, then he hung up on me.

I have received over 80 calls from these pricks (02), (07), now (03) get 1 a few hours either side of lunchtime and between 5 & 6 pm every $#$& day even on weekends so much for Telstra's phone blocking speal

Scam call from an indian asking if i verified a transaction from commonwealth bank account to a "john smith" 100% a scam. I dont have a CBA account. I replied with 100% i authorised it and he hung up.

Caller: Indian call centre

Hung up on me 🤣

Caller: ER psychiatry dept !!

Very noisy background. Strong accent, hard to hear and understand. Said he was calling regarding a fraud email for my id. I said, can't hear, understand you. If you have my email then email me. He hung up. Obviously a scam ha ha.

Call went to my voicemail saying that I had a fraudulent transaction on my back account - standard guff about press 1 to authorise, 2 to dispute etc. Number blocked.

Was suspicious it may be a spam call so answered but did not say hello. The call was ended by the caller a few seconds later after no conversation from either party (IE silence)

Caller: (03) 9123 1069 claims to be NBN

claimed to be NBN and offer to speed up my NBN connection, didnt know who I am nor where I live.
I dont have any NBN connection

Caller: SCAM - Thomas Called Woolworths Credit Cards

Stating that my Woolworths Credit Card ending in XXXX had been used for transactions including ebay for certain amounts. Told him I would call him back via Woolworths Contact Numbers only to find out that no one had called me however unauthorised transactions have since been attempted. They were obviously trying to alert me to these amounts so that I was under the belief that they were already being investigated.

Caller: Lisa “from Telstra”

Told me she was Lisa from Telstra calling about my internet connection. Hung up when I said no you’re not.

Indian call center, claimed to be from NBN.

Yeah I just had a call from this number. He said his name was Joe from Amazon security and someone in California had ordered me a new iphone and they had concerns. I googled this page while we were speaking and told him to go away! Thanks for all the warnings everyone.

I don't know why these people continue to call, I am actually beginning to enjoy abusing them.
So much so that I may have to cancel Foxtel and use these IDIOTS as a new form of entertainment.
Or as another option I could divert all incoming scam call's to the Aust Federal Police number.
At least then they can do their job and put a stop to people from outside Australia using SIP or VOIP services to appear that they are actually calling from here.
I gave one of my spare mobile phones to my 80 yo mother so we can talk daily.
Like me she receives 8 to 10 calls a day from a variety of numbers
