Caller: Supposedly from Commonwealth Visa Card Department

Tried to tell me someone had made a transaction on my Visa Card account. When I asked which bank it was, reply was Commonwealth Bank. Told them I don't have a Commonwealth Bank Account - quick, smart hangup by the caller!!!

Silence! So many SCAM calls from phone numbers commencing 039123 ....

Caller: Scam telling they’re from Home affair dept.

Called once, didn’t answer but send a voicemail

scam call, did not recognise the number so did not answer it. Called number back at a latter time and message stated .. unable to complete the call. bogus number,scam

Rang twice and hung up when i picked up, unplugged my phone so i could get some peace, you know it is a scam call when they only let it ring a short time before they disconnect

Left a voicemail saying I had transactions for online shopping and to press 1 or 2 to report the fraud charge

They had looked up my website and my hosting provider. They tried to sell me Web hosting and design. Told them they are calling from a scam Related number. Told them to get a real job.

Said that there was several attempts on my eBay account and tried to ask for my i.p address so I hung up

Why do they use this opening as it tells you straight away that it is a scam?

Called back left message calling me a "liar"
