It’s a scammer. They’ve changed their approach multiple times but their end goal is to scam. Please don’t give them any details or money. Feel free to waste their time though.

Caller: Scammer from Amazon

He asked if I ordered a iPhone 13 I didn't, so they need me to go to App store and download an App to my phone ( to hack my info ) so I can fill in the cancelation details and they can cancel the fraudulent order. I refused and he got angry and was still insisting that I need to download fake app. I yelled at him and hung up.

Bad line with a delay. Called saying they we from Telstra Technical department calling about my home internet (which isn't supplied by Telstra). 100% SCAMMERS

Scammers reading my hotmail address out. I told them they are scammers block their number. BEWARE...

Caller: Wouldn’t speak

Every. Single. day. Sick of these bastards calling or sending scam texts

Answered had a short period of silence before they hung up

Called on Aug. 8, 2022. Hung up, left no message. Blocked 'em

Rung, missed call and no voicemail left

Claiming to be from Telstra

Phoned. Left no voicemail. Blocked, deleted, done!

Silence followed by hang up

Scammer from Telstra, hung up when I asked for name of Supervisor

Caller: "National NBN"

Caller attempted to get me to google something as an overseas person was allegedly accessing my personal details. Given this is my work phone that is managed through a Government agency, I advised I would be sending this complaint up to my government IT department, then they hung up on me.
