''Amazon" confirming my iPhone order and payment to come from Amazon account. didn't order one and don't have Amazon account. Recording not live.

Honestly one of my more funny scam call experiences -
When i answered it took a good couple of seconds for the sound to come through which proved it was international (but coming from melbourne supposedly). this lady was in a very loud room and said she was from telstra and wanted to talk to me about my IP. I simply laughed and said "youre full of Sh*t arent you..."
usually, this is where they hang up, or they double down and assure you they are real. this one didnt...
to my surprise, she replied "haha, no you are full of sh*t".
I waited to hear her hang up but she stayed on the line! I eventually caved first and just laughed and said ok bye now.
kind of wish i kept probing! could have been such a fun convo :P

Same as above, they hung up as I hit the 'answer' button, I did not even get the chance to speak so have no idea if the caller was an Aussie.

Day after day call after call, I do not answer they do not leave a message Hoew can these poeple be closed down????

Answered the call, guy wanted to talk to me about my Telstra products. I said that I don’t have any Telstra products, which was responded with awkward silence. He terminated the call a few seconds later.

Pre recorded message stating it was PayPal and there had been a request of $900 for gift cards. Press 1 if you think this is fraudulent etc... Of course it was a scam but the voice was totally on point.....

Thank you Reverse Australia. Got a call today with this number (03) 9123 1043 trying to scam me.

Apparently afp can’t do anything about this !

Seems that scammer using this number is doing the rounds again from the other comments here. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
Legit businesses would leave a short message saying they've called, and if required leave a contact number or further instructions. Only telemarketers and scammers don't leave messages.
