Wish I could consign these subhuman parasites to the deepest depths of hell. There's no peace from them. I never answer call from unknown numbers, and I block the numbers or range of numbers used by scamming pests, but as a new week starts, it's yet another lot butting into my home and my life. Please do not keep answering calls from these things. Do as we have so often been advised to do: ignore calls from unknown numbers. Just do not answer. It seems to be the only means we have at present to put a stop to this plague. There are vulnerable people who are actually being scammed by these lowlifes.

Asian lady (didn't catch the name) obviously in call centre type arrangement telling me that there has been 'unusual activity during the last couple of few days' and that my unique ISP identifier had been released in public due to me using my device on a public network (which never happens). She then told me that she was ringing to notify me IMMEDIATELY about the breach - so I told her that was contradictory to what she said earlier and she then tried to tell me I had not been answering their calls. When informed that was an outright lie and this was the first call, she informed me that my internet connection would be terminated permanently and hung up. At least I wasted 3 and a half minutes of her time.

Caller: Some scammer As soon as I saw this number come up on my caller ID, I knew there was something 'hinky' about it. As I don't get many calls from the (03) prefix I declined this call. After checking here to confirm (my instincts), this phone number too has been blocked.
I'm too much of a Lady to say the words out loud of how I'd describe these low-life horrid scammers.

Said they were Telstra rewards and offering to receive half my bill back because of my rewards ! They ask for email verification, ( which they had incorrectly so I didnt correct them ), said they were sending a code from microsoft to my email . Of course I didn’t get it but it was interesting to see how much they tried to convince me they were legit like saying “this is my Telstra id” you can go to the store to verify me “ .

Caller: "amazon" scammer Automated scam call to say "Your Amazon Prime membership will be automatically debited from your bank account at $99, if you don't want the payment to come out, press 1". I dont have an amazon account. Would probably go to the scammy call centre to get bank details if I pressed 1. Just hang up.
