Caller: Scam call

Indian woman called me claiming to be from Telstra. Stated there was an issue with my account. I don’t have an account with Telstra and a search of the phone number comes up to it being connected with iPrimus. When I called the number back, the line rings out and won’t connect.

I always ignore unknown numbers, and scrolling through this site confirms my suspicions

Caller: cLAIMED TO BE rICK pARKER

Claimed to be "Rick Parker" from Telstra Technical Dept, I said "well thats strange, Telstra do not have a tech dept. " hung up
O h and had an "indian" accent/twang
When are our Comms authorities going to stop the cloning of numbers and this type of scam. They should threaten huge fines!!!!!!!

I just received a call from this number I don't answer unknown numbers

Caller: Claiming to be from Visa security section

Received call from (03) 9123 1033 claiming to be from Visa Security asked for me by my name, re transaction I made, at this stage I hung up

Women said she was from Ebay fraud control and my details were being used to purchase something for $500 in California, USA. She knew my name. She asked if I wanted to block the transaction. I said yes. She then asked me to download an app. I asked what app and she hung up.

I don't answer numbers that I don't know. It seems like this is a scam call anyways by the comments on this page. Something needs to be done about these scammers.

Don’t answer. Indian with a name like brian smith. Trying to get bank details claiming from Telstra. Pi ss offf back to India

Indian woman saying she was from credit and debit Card security and was enquiring if I had approved a transaction to a Mr Allan Baker in the United states for a amount of $900. She asked if I wanted the transaction to go ahead I said I didn't make one and she tried to say she was my bank calling, which then I asked if she was with my bank which bank is it that I have and she immediately hung up

Caller: Indian man by the name of "Peter"

Claiming that there was a problem with my nbn connection. Told him that my nbn was fine and hung up

Left a hello voicemail and hung up

Scam . Automated voice advising my Amazon account is going to be closed. I don't have Amazon account.

Answered and got an automated voice saying there was a problem with my eBay account. Hung up before they could finish.

Scam! Tried to tell me hackers were trying to access my computer through my NBN connection. We don’t even have NBN.

Lady/Indian accent - background call centre noise - said from Telstra, IP error code, public from private etc.
I asked for some account details, and she hung up!
Nice try.
