First I had a call from (03) 9087 5472. Then three hours later from this number (03) 9123 1008. I didn't answer either on the basis of reviews from the reverse lookup. Government isn't doing anything to stop this. Time to look for an app that will automatically block scam callers

SCAMMER - Claming to be calling from CBA about authorising an overseas transaction from bank account

Another bloody scam call.
Telstra are simply useless and let these morons get away with day after day.
Phone has a scam alert and this came up as a debt collector.
These idiots are no better than the material that floats in my septic system.

The person hung up when I picked up the call. Probably scammer.

Why would telstra do anything. They get paid by anyone including scammers using the phone network.

Scammers and hackers. Lost $8,000. Telling you they from the NBN/Telstra to fix issue with exposure of your IP address .

Claimed to be calling me from Telstra. When I asked them what name they had on the account, they hung up on me

Automated message claimed to be PayPal requiring a payment of $900 or something. Complete scam. Can't believe telco's still let these go through.

Caller: Amanda from CBA

Amanda from CBA securities said she was calling from the CBA advising me that a transaction from my CBA account to a Peter Williams in the US of $499 has been identified as somethign that may not have been authorised.
She then went on to ask what devices I used to log onto my account and what the IP address of each is.
I asked for a reference number so I could go to CBA and discuss it further with them in the branch and she got very agressive.
I told her since she was CBA securities she could cancel the transaction and I wasnt tellign her the IP address and she got super rude...
I told her I would report her to the CBA and then told her I dont have a CBA account and hung up.

Claims to be Telstra.

Getting so many calls from 'Suspected Spam' numbers in past few days but no connection when I call back.

Supposedly from NBN, didn't give them a chance to say anything else.

Supposedly from VISA MasterCard where a payment has been made for $1399. Possible fraud it said press 1 talk to an operator press 2 to ok the payment. It was a voicemail message that was left therefore it is a robot call aswell.

Scam - Automated Message supposedly from Amazon Prime Services. Said that they were renewing my Amazon Prime subscription and if I didn't want $99 deducted from bank account monthly to press "1".

scammer - claiming to be calling from Amazon regarding a suspicious purchase made on my account for a iphone.

Hard on the heels of a very similar number (03) 9123 1049. Google says it's a scam number.
