Said he was from NBN security and wanted to fix my computer. When I asked if he was a scammer he called me a bitch

Caller: Telstra

Told me they were from Telstra and new my email address and mobile number and told me they were both being comprised and used by scammers and wanted me to look up the location of my phone to see it was currently showing in Japan.....that's when I hung up.

Said they were Ebay support, took them about a minute to say that twice.

Called to say he was from Telstra Internet. Didn’t let him get anything else out.

Caller: Vodafone?

Electronic voice, saying its Vodafone and my service will be disconnected.
Scam number do not engage.

An Indian men calling me saying that someone tried to purchase an Iphone and it would be debit 99 from my account 🙄

Told me he was from Telstra and there was major issues with my internet security. Persistent this one was, so I let him waffle on and waste his time. No ID check or anything just kept telling me he can give me the instructions to "fix' my computer.

Amazon scam to get personal details

I didnt actually answer it thru precaution, but after reading these comments, im glad i didnt answer it!

Caller: apparently AMAZON

Received a call saying it was Amazon prime telling me $99.99 would be debited from my account for my subscription and press one to cancel.
I don’t have a Amazon prime account!

Calling saying they were offering 50% off for my Telstra mobile for 6 months. Knew my first name and the town I used to live in.
Trouble for them is I am no longer with Telstra, no longer live in that town and they used the short version of my name not my full actual name which is all Telstra would use. Not sure where they got part of the info from but definitely scammers. They hung up when I said I'm not with Telstra and don't live where they said.

They called to say they were from Amazon and that someone was trying to buy an I-Phone. She (Indian woman) wanted me to instore an app on my phone which would allow them to search my details for activity statements.

Called earlier saying from Telstra IT Dept. and that they detected unauthorised use on my device...but they didn't know what device l had. They wanted me to perform certain steps on my PC. Scammer Alert !
