Caller: SCAM re: Amazon Services

Recorded message - that my (non existent) Amazon Prime subscription will renew for $99. The msg says to select the option to speak to one of their ‘customer service officers’ if you want to cancel. I assume they would ask for your Amazon log-in details or some sort of fee to disconnect the service.

Asking for commbank crypto transaction. I don’t have commbank account

Claimed to be from Telstra. Nearly got me too. Thank god for Authenticator & Microsoft Authentication apps. Both went off with a text saying ‘Microsoft Password Reset Code’ Hung up, and suddenly called from 4 different numbers within a minute

Scam, claimed I have had a purchase of a gift card on my ebay account from California. Wanted to send me a secure form to cancel the transaction.

Didn't answer it as they've called before. Blocked them.

I didn’t answer, they didn’t leave a message so now number is blocked

said someone had tried to debit my card, i hung up as i have notifications on any card i have. they failed badly and indian accent

The infamous 'Telstra Technical Department'. They've been using the same con for 10+ years - surely they must have run out of people to scam!

I let the call ring out, no message left by caller, Scam? Our mobiles are on the do not call register, but it doesnt stop the idiot scam callers from trying /

Phone call from this number today, not recognised, and I did not answer. From comment seen here most likely scam call. (7/3/2023)
