Missed call, but good I didn't answer. Sounds like a scammer.

Called me today as I was reading these comments

Told me I had been overcharged by banks and insurance and I was entitled to $4000. I queried which banks or insurance company and she just yelled at me MULTIPLE and then asked me 4 questions which I responded no to each. She proceeded to say you aren't entitled and hung up - def scam!

That's the oe that contacted me, yes was a scammer

The number rang me Friday and twice today (Saturday). I didn't answer on Friday nor the first time today. They left no message. This evening, I kept saying "hello, hello" and pretended I couldn't hear her and talked over the top of her. I then said "I can't hear you. My hearing isn't too good. Can you sign?" She said "Sign?" and I said "hello, can you sign?" and she hung up. I am blocking the number now.

Big scam. They claim to be from the Consumer Credit Insurance (CCI) refund team. Trying to get my bank account details for supposedly refund I'm due.

Caller: Woman with a foreign accent

Called my mobile asking for my son by name who is underage. I questioned where she got my number from and she asked are you his mother? I said yes and she hung up on me

Let it ring out as I'm not expecting any calls from Melbourne. No message was left even though I have 3 missed calls from them over the last 2 weeks. Almost definitely a scam.

A call to my mobile- when I picked up, no response. Call lasted 3 seconds.

said I was eligible for a 4k refund without knowing my financial situation 🤷🏻‍♀️

When I answered they immediately hung up. I'm sick of these nuisance callers.

I got few calls from this number and (02) 7208 4240，mentioned that there is government refund， which is totally a lie， scam！The lady on the call mentioned my name few times to clarify my identity, which is so rude.

Consumer Credit - asking if l am entitled to a refund. Needless to say, I've blocked the number!

Got a call from this number and they told me I may have insurance money due to me because of overcharging. I asked her where she got my details from and she said 'from consumer credit, of course'. I told her that I had looked the number up online and saw the number of complaints about calls from this phone number, told her I didn't wish to continue the conversation and hung up. Scam artists!!!

Asked him who he was and why he was calling, he said he represented "consumer credit agency", I said I was not interested, and blocked the number on my phone.

SCAM ALERT .. told me I might be entitled to 4K compensation and that I would need to answer 4 questions , when I told them nah nah , he said well you could donate to a charity or give away to a friend , I said nah thanks it’s a scam and he quickly hung up .
