Caller: (03) 9119 6037 via computer popup claimed to be Microsoft we fell for it lost money

Absolutely a scam. As someone already posted, "Computer was displaying a fake "Call Microsoft RIGHT NOW" webpage. This was the number on the bottom of the fake alert." Unfortunately, we fell for it and they accessed bank account.

Got a call saying I had an ebay order (I don't) and I was going to be debited 200 dollars or something. Didn't answer and it just hung up.

Caller Microsoft support line,Caller Microsoft re fake alert and got very upset and hung up when I stated i was not prepared to give access to a certain block of information , definately a scam.

Faker then a political promise or a Greens policy. Ignore, block or report these nuisance criminals.

As the other comments have said, it's a scam. Presents a warning screen on your computer with an emergency contact number, eventually tries to access your bank. ABSOLUTE SCAM
