This is how the conversation went:

Me: Hello?
Him: Hello, how are you?
Me: Good, you?
Him: You are the first person today to ask me how I am. Thank you for your concern.
Me: That's OK.
Him: (Something about energy and a free device.) How many exhaust fans do you have in your house?
Me: I think I had a call about this the other week.
Him: Get lost!

And then he hung up.

I did not answer but called back after 5:00pm close of business hours like I usually do with unrecognised numbers. There was no robo message or anything. No voice mail box, just nothing. My guess is it's a scam or telemarketer. I have now blocked this number.

Same Indian Scammers. GOVT & Telcos NEED TO CRACK DOWN and actually do something about these scammers.
NOTHING is getting done.

I did not answer the call but after reading comments realised it was a scam call

Big bunch of scammy bollocks on a faked out number. One of many actually.
Another hint of attitude or insult and the next git from this call centre is getting my shrill ass police whistle to the eardrum.

TrueCaller rejected as a scam call, can see why looking at all these reports. Number blocked.

Indian accent guy claiming to be able to get me more customers and fix my business website by improve my google ranking. Scam.

His name was Shane. It is supposed he works for the government and the electricity bonus.

Asked about how many exhaust fans I have. Spam.

They called to make a suitable time to install my draft stopper on my exhaust fan. I asked where they were going to install them and she read out my address. This is quite frightening. I told her that it's a double storey home and I need their insurance certificate before they could install anything on my home. She apologies and hangs up.

Scam. Indian caller. Something about energy incentives and asked how many exhaust fans I have. Told him I rent so not interested and he insisted, become pushy, said it was authourised even for the rental and asked me again how many exhaust fans in the house. I hung up at this point

Indian callee. Scam!
